Paraskevi (Evi) Topali is a phD student from the University of Valladolid, Spain and she is visiting coLAps for a week (February, 10th-14th, 2020) as part of her phD-related activities. Together, we’re working on Learning Designs and Learning Analytics for online courses with a focus on scaffolding. We’re beyond happy to have her here since she’s not only a bright, hard-working female junior academic but she’s also a kind, engaging and fun person to work and hang out with!
During her visit, Evi gave a talk at the Institute of Education on assisting MOOC practitioners in the identification and support of struggling learners. You can find more about Evi’s research here: https://www.gsic.uva.es/members/evi.topali
